How much you earn depends on the site…
Some sites are low and some are higher based on the content of the site, traffic and niche.
Some keyword or niche pay you more. You need to learn and make some research about all of this.

How much you get per click depends on how much advertisers are willing to pay for each click. This will depend heavily on the topic of your website.
For example, if your website’s topic is centered on investments, you will be earning more per click compared to another website which displays flower related ads.
On the average, Adsense payout can range from $0.05 to $0.50 per click depending on which niche your website is in.

Most likely it’s just the type of ad and what that advertiser paid google for. I looked all over googles website to see if they would give an answer but couldn’t find one.
